Winter Frost

There’s frost on the rooftops.

Frost on the grass.

Frost on the surface

of the overpass.

There’s frost on the

porch steps.

Frost on the rose.

If I go outside –

there’s frost

un my nose.

But it’s November

and I suppose

it’s no surprise

that everything froze.

When did it happen?

That everything froze?
