September 16: 3,415 deaths
The un-vaccined folks play COVID Roulette
and put at risk all of our lives.
They dominate health care, plug the ER’s,
and hope they’re the one who survives.
September 16: 3,415 deaths
The un-vaccined folks play COVID Roulette
and put at risk all of our lives.
They dominate health care, plug the ER’s,
and hope they’re the one who survives.
The ships out in the harbor
leave their loads, and then they go.
Other ships replace them
in a ceaseless To and Fro.
May this simple Blessing start your week.
May Truth and Joy abide.
May Wisdom give you guidance,
with Courage by your side.
Google’s back to normal.
Her message sounds the same.
“Today we’re having showers.
Tomorrow there’ll be rain.”
My garden gate is open.
It must have been the wind.
But, since it’s standing open,
I hope you’ll step right in.
If all goes well, we’ll meet again.
Our Kati has chosen a book.
We’ve opened the cover, checked inside–
we’ve taken a little quick look.
If COVID stays low, our masks stay high—
we’ll be ready to meet again.
And we’ll talk about amazing thoughts
that stream from an author’s pen.
Google says that we’ll have rain.
I surely hope she’s right!
The drought has been relentless.
I pray there’s relief in sight.
All of a sudden, the power went out.
I never learned what ‘twas about.
But, I realized once the power was gone
that life is better when the power is on.
If a Blessing makes you happy,
and it lifts your heart a bit,
then we’ll send another Blessing
so you’ll have much more of it!
Ev’ry day I light a candle
to be sure your way is clear.
You can see the path before you
so no stumbles interfere.
