Ev’ry morning when I wake up,
I put hot coffee in my coffee cup.
The coffee taste is a nice surprise and
the caffeine jolt opens up my eyes.
Ev’ry morning when I wake up,
I put hot coffee in my coffee cup.
The coffee taste is a nice surprise and
the caffeine jolt opens up my eyes.
Today, I dyed my Easter eggs.
Yes, I know it’s a little early.
But, I looked outside at the dripping sky.
I was feeling cross and surly.
So I brought spring color into the house
and it wasn’t very long,
before the cheerful Easter eggs
filled up my heart with song.
The weather’s cold.
And gray. And harsh.
I guess we’re still
in the Midst of March.
Five hundred forty thousand have died.
The death rate’s slightly slowing.
We’re going back to biz’ness as usu’l.
The apathy is growing.
Today’s the Vernal Equinox—
ends the darkest of the year.
Today starts the bright beginning.
Spring is Officially Here!
It’s time for springtime daffodils,
for hyacinths and crocus.
It’s time for flowering trees and shrubs.
Spring’s coming into focus!
Got a cup of coffee
and settled in…
…pulled my snuggly blanket
up under my chin…
Watched the morning
day wake up…
…with my snuggly blanket
and a coffee cup…
