I don’t know why the caged bird sings.
I think I’d find it hard
to never get to lift my wings
in a cage that’s locked and barred.
I don’t know why the caged bird sings.
I think I’d find it hard
to never get to lift my wings
in a cage that’s locked and barred.
A Blank-e-ty Rabbit
is back in my yard.
Eating zucchini.
Making life hard.
Mankind and Rabbits
cannot co-exist!
The rabbits must go!
I simply insist!
May you dance today through fairy dust.
May you slide right down a rainbow.
May your heart be filled with happiness.
And your life go where your dreams go.
Did you see the moon last night?
Bright and bold and clear and light.
Shim’ring in the midnight sky.
Lighting earth as it slipped by.
Suddenly, the pests are gone.
My garden’s rabbit free.
I hope they found a better yard
far far away from me.
Lay your head down gently.
Now, in quiet, close your eyes
And when you wake tomorrow
life will be a grand surprise!
Tomorrow will be another day.
We’ll get to try again.
We’ll leave behind
the faults of today –
and the things that might have been.
Bunnies don’t know what it means to trespass.
They’re ready to gambol in anyone’s grass.
They’re ready to eat anything that they see.
They care not a whit if it’s trouble to me.
May blessings mark your day today.
May strength and wisdom guide you.
May happiness enfold your heart.
May kindness walk beside you.
I’m on High Alert!
I’m on Rabbit Patrol!
I’m out in my garden
regaining CONTROL!
I’m showing these rabbits
the plants are for ME.
They’ll learn
I’M the OWNER!
How hard can this be?
