Now the dark of night has come.

Let slumber overtake you.

Sleep until the morning light.

Let dawning re-awake you.

Let your tired soul refresh.

Take comfort in the resting.

Sleep, my child.  Close weary eyes.

And feel this mother’s blessing.

Imagine you have healthy eyes,

with clear, perceptive vision.

They scan the far horizon.

They discern with fine precision.

Imagine you have Robust Health!

This MOMENT it’s arriving!

Body, mind, and soul combine.

Your senses are all thriving!

They clutch their I Pad to their breast.

They cling as to their mother.

Their I Pad means the world to them.

Their life has known no other.

Yellow buses hit the streets –

sure sign that Fall is here.

The little kids jump on and go

to start another year.

Anxious parents send them off

 and pray their safe return.

The little ones go off to school.

It’s Fall.  It’s time to learn.

Gratitude and thankfulness.

We have enough to share.

Our hearts o’erflow with joy and love.

Let’s spread them ev’rywhere.

The clock sits — peaceful — on the shelf.

It marks the hours of day.

The years go by.  It never stops.

It ticks one’s life away.

We need more folks

with common sense —

with calm consideration —

to solve with justice, peace, and truth,

the problems of this nation.

We need more folks

who’ll recognize the

needs of one another,

with minds that open up

enough to see Man as a brother.

We need more folks who

think, and act, and choose what’s good and true.

We need more folks with caring hearts —

more folks like me and you.

Today may you know happiness

beyond your wildest dreams.

May you take a magic carpet ride

where nothing’s as it seems.

May you walk in clouds of pixie dust

in one enchanted spell,

enclosed inside a magic charm

so all things turn out well.

Tomorrow’s always out there.

Yesterday is always gone.

We live our lives in moments.

Today’s always moving on.
