The summer sun is clear and bright, and

though I’m not complaining,

I wouldn’t mind if I stepped outside

and found that it was raining.

May life be good

to you today.

May you find joy

along the way.

It could be a bank, or a turnstile,  or a store

or a brand new place you’ve never been before.

The moral is. “Wherever thou goest,

the line thy choose will always be slowest.”

An act of Kindness idoesn’t take much trouble.

We can still be kind in a COVID bubble.

“Repent!  Repent! … the end is Nigh!”

Today’s bad news might make you cry.

There’s fire and flood and pestilence.

Humans have lost their common sense.

This is a Blessing to lift your heart…

a Blessing to touch ev’ry thing you start….

a Blessing to bring a smile your way….

a Blessing for happiness ev’ry day.

The Pentagon’s in lockdown.

There is shooting on the street.

The situation’s “fluid”

and the chaos near complete.

A butterfly or a fairy ring

or a dancing kite on the end of string

or a laughing child or a voice of love

or rainbows shimmering up above…

Whatever is “happy” in your own way

is the blessing I send to you today.

We need a new stage in evolution.

We need a Kindness Revolution

A lot more Kindness every day

may alter our state of mass confusion.

We need to look at our fellow man

and do a Kindness when we can.           

Then, in this Kindness Revolution

we’ll find a path to a new solution.
