How do you know just Who You Are?

Can you imagine how it feels

to be someone sans car and wheels?

Precious Kitty’s quite a cat.

She didn’t like where she lived at.

She shook her fur and sauntered on.

She moved right in with Cheryl and John.

Let sleep be gentle

through the night,

and rise when morning wakes you.

Will  you walk along with me?

Will  you hold my hand?

Will you answer questions?

Will you help me understand?

Will you point out the direction,

show me where I ought to go?

For I am very frightened

and I need more time to grow.

Rubatino’s trucks are

lurching…grinding…

clearing out the street…

emanating silent menace

to each walker

that they meet.

My daughter found a white hair.

I’m more shocked than I can say.

You know you’re growing older

when your kid starts turning gray.

This world is in a Great Big Mess.

We’ve gotten in a fix.

Let’s make ourselves a miracle.

Let’s add love to the mix.

is here to welcome you.

It offers up its light with Joy,

extending Hope to you.

We’re choosing our next President.

It is a Very Big Event!

I’m voting now with firm intent

Popeye ate his spinach

to draw strength and energy.
