The Stilly’s way, way
over its banks.
The water keeps on rising.
The locals say ‘twas times like this
made Noah enterprising.
The Stilly’s way, way
over its banks.
The water keeps on rising.
The locals say ‘twas times like this
made Noah enterprising.
I roll around upon the floor
to do my exercises.
This work my body doth ignore.
It never loses sizes.
We moved to the 100-Acre-Drive
and I looked for Winnie the Pooh!
— Looked all around!
— Not to be found!
—What was I to do?
So, I stopped in my tracks
and I did relax
with a moment of fun and laughter.
And we settled down
in this part of town
to live Happy Ever After.
“Butterflies and Forget-Me-Nots.”
The books are fin’lly here!
I can hold them in my very hands.
It’s the best day of this year.
Today I sing a lullaby.
its notes float through the air.
I sing this gentle song for you –
to tell you that I care.
Pixie dust and fairy rings.
Fam’ly, friends, and a heart that sings.
Laughter ev’ry where you go…
We celebrate the Big Nine-O!
Help us find wisdom.
Help us find peace.
Help us find ways to relate.
Help us find courage.
Help us find love.
Help us find ways through this hate.
Today, I got a lollipop from a clerk
inside a store.
(I’m a little old for lollipops.
I don’t buy them anymore.)
But, a smiling clerk was off’ring them
as she stood right by the door.
What a warm and friendly way it was
to bring Christmas to their store.
Today’s a day for thankfulness….
for kindness…and for giving.
We’re thankful for all those we know
who make our lives worth living.
I feel quite thankful for what I‘ve got.
There’s more to be thankful for than not.
