I HATE to cross the Boulevard!
Crossing the Boulevard is HARD!
First, you have to cross, and, then,
you have to make it back again!
—–So far, so Good!
I HATE to cross the Boulevard!
Crossing the Boulevard is HARD!
First, you have to cross, and, then,
you have to make it back again!
—–So far, so Good!
My candle burns for all the world.
Bright hope for all to see.’
It sends out beauty to the world.
It shines for you and me.
Before I go to sleep each night,
I think about my day.
I wonder ‘bout the world ahead…
if Man will find a way.
I think about the things I’ve done
and what I ought to do.
And then I close my tired eyes
and pray and me and you.
My garden’s still and silent.
There’s a single butterfly.
Not a bird sings out a greeting.
Not a cloud drifts gently by.
They need some food.
They need some water.
That’s all OK.
But, I think they oughter
just change their plan.’
Can it be too hard?
And graze in someone else’s yard.
Today I wish all well for you.
May kindness mark your day.
And may you show the best in you
with all you do and say.
I’ve had enough!
I’ve Gone To War!
I just won’t take this ANY MORE!
I won’t stand down!
I won’t RETREAT!
They’d best find someplace else to eat!
The Uvalde children haunt me.
Wrenching mem’ries from the past.
Laughing voices on a playground.
Little lives that didn’t last.
The bunnies ate their breakfast.
They savored ev’ry minute.
They like my yard for breakfast.
They like ev’rything that’s in it.
Bunnies
The bunnies ate their breakfast.
They savored ev’ry minute.
They like my yard for breakfast.
They like ev’rything that’s in it.
The bunnies ate their breakfast.
They savored ev’ry minute.
They like my yard for breakfast.
They like ev’rything that’s in it.
Those pesky rabbits drive me nuts.
I wish they’d go away.
As long as I plant marigolds,
I’m ‘fraid they’re here to stay.
