Living the Aging Life

My little Mother taught me a lot.

Some of her lessons, I’ve forgot.

Enough of her lessons stick with me

I’m a better person than I’d otherwise be.

I wrote an Ode

and I lost it in Word.

It didn’t AutoSave.

This computer strife

is the Bane of my Life.

I can’t make it Behave!

There’s a ship out in the harbor

riding quiet in the bay.

I wonder why she’s waiting

‘stead of heading on her way.

There’s a helicopter up on Mars and it is phoning home.

It must feel lonely way up there and hates to be alone.

It looks like Mother Nature’s

now expelling Man from Earth.

It looks like she’s decided

we’re more Trouble than we’re Worth.

Black clouds are hovering overhead,

promising a rainy day.

Chill winds are blowing from the West.

Pacific rain is on the way.

I start each day with Starbuck’s….

…a little Mocha in my tummy!

I LUV my morning Starbuck’s.

To me, their Mocha’s yummy!

A ship is anchored in our harbor….

tidal action…drifting slow….

It’s just paused out in the harbor…

waiting for a sign to go.

May Blessings shower you today and fill your life with laughter.
