Prince Harry lost his case in court.
He wants to whine and pout.
He thought he’d be forgiven.
But the Family’s holding out.
When he had his Princely Duty,
he decided to eschew it.
But now that time’s a-passin’
he must wish he didn’t do it.

May this blessing

lift your heart

and bring you hope today.

with joy along your way.

Technology’s terrific

when it works the way it should.

But when it stutters –

and then balks –

it doesn’t seem much good.

Hello the Sun!  Wake up, New Day!

I open up my eyes,

and find a world around me

that is filled with bright surprise.

My candle burns to calm his pain –

and ease his mother’s sorrow.

My candle burns to give them hope

that there’ll be health tomorrow.

Technology’s a mystery.

What it can do astounds me.

And what it chooses not to do

confuses and confounds me.

The bunnies like to visit me.

They do the Bunny Hop!

Their noses wiggle with delight

as they eat up my crop.

My garden is a smorgasbord.

A festive, rabbit-table.

The rabbits eat each growing plant

as fast as they are able.

The Aardvark and the Zebra

make a most unlikely pair.

In fact, to think about it,

they’re a blt hard  to compare.

The  Aardvark is lethargic.

He’s an unattractive beast.

His anti-social habits

don’t endear him in the least.

The Zebra is a beauty,

fast and fluid on his feet,

drawing looks of admiration

from each one he gets to meet.

You’d think, among the animals,

the Zebra would be first,

and somewhere down the lineup

sluggish Aardvark would be worst.

But in the world of alphabets,

of letters and of books,

reality is diff’rent.

It is not the way it looks.

Aardvark is a creature

that the Zebra should have passed,

but alphabet makes Aardvark first.

The Zebra’s always last.
