She’s going to get plain cat food,
but, she’d rather have a treat.

Constancy of purpose.

Chores
It’s time to start the ironing.
It’s time to change the bed.
It’s time to clean the dirty sink
and see the cat is fed.
It’s time to vacuum up the crumbs
and then we must repeat.
Why don’t we just invent a way
to make chores obsolete?
Cats
Some cats like to snuggle,
want a cuddly, soft embrace.
Others give a cold cat stare
to keep you in your place.
