Weeding’s quite addictive.
Gets me out there in the sun.
Lets me feel fresh air and sunshine.
And, it’s never, ever done.
Weeding’s quite addictive.
Gets me out there in the sun.
Lets me feel fresh air and sunshine.
And, it’s never, ever done.
Good Morning, Bright Sunshine!
We start a new day.
Here are fresh Blessings
to lighten your way.
My driveway looks as good as new:
a large expanse of tar!
It’s waiting there to welcome you
when you drive up by car!
Something got my parsley.
Was it rabbits? Was it slugs?
Did it succumb to plant disease
or other pesky bugs?
I checked for symptoms all around
the space it occupied.
The soil is amply watered,
but my parsley surely died.
My heart sends you a lullaby.
It’s a simple little song.
I hope its notes will fill YOUR heart,
and help your day along.
There’s a reason, ev’ry morn,
to rise and try again.
And that’s to make this coming day
the best that’s ever been.
Today I talked with Google, and,
you’ll all be glad to know…
she told me, most sincerely, that
“there’s little chance of snow.”
I’m going to hope
for a miracle
if I’m going to hope at all.
When you really need a miracle,
there’s no point Thinking Small!
It’s Rubatino Garbage Day –
a day with much commotion!
A day with men out on the streets
and massive trucks in motion!
It’s a day to break the quietness.
There’s action on the street!
But when the garbage drives away,
the silence is complete.
My garden lifts its smiling face
and bids the world “Good Day!”
When a garden smiles at you,
there’s not much left to say.
