Today I talked with Google, and,
you’ll all be glad to know…
she told me, most sincerely, that
“there’s little chance of snow.”
Today I talked with Google, and,
you’ll all be glad to know…
she told me, most sincerely, that
“there’s little chance of snow.”
I’m going to hope
for a miracle
if I’m going to hope at all.
When you really need a miracle,
there’s no point Thinking Small!
It’s Rubatino Garbage Day –
a day with much commotion!
A day with men out on the streets
and massive trucks in motion!
It’s a day to break the quietness.
There’s action on the street!
But when the garbage drives away,
the silence is complete.
My garden lifts its smiling face
and bids the world “Good Day!”
When a garden smiles at you,
there’s not much left to say.
It’s not to late to have a dream,
and have that dream come true.
It’s not too late for joy and hope
and a life fulfilled for you.
May blessings come your way today
like clouds of butterflies,
bringing laughter to your lips
and sparkle to your eyes.
My Princess –
the “Aristocrat” –
would like to be
an Only Cat.
She’d like to look
around and be
the Only Cat
that she can see.
The mind’s a mighty funny thing,
‘cuz whether you are serf or king,
the mind can lift its wings to fly
and scour the reaches of the sky.
I’d like to see some moderation
saturate this entire nation.
I’d like us to be swept away
by waves of “Nice” in all we say.
I’d like attacks of courtesy
to overcome the folks I see.
I’d like that “Me First!” attitude
replaced by Grace.
Cut out the rude.
I’d like a little passion for
the kinds of acts that I adore:
like listening and honesty
and plain respect for you and me.
What is life, if not for living?
What is love, if not for giving?
One place each can make a start:
share a loving, giving heart.
