The push back is growing.
Resistance is showing.
Our voices ring out sea to sea.
This Country is Ours.
You don’t have all powers.
Hands off.
We demand to be Free!

The Uvalde children haunt me.
Now a mem’ry of the past.
One more killing of our children.
Not the first.
And not the last.
The kitchen’s full of dishes,
piled up in the cluttered sink.
It’s multiplying, glass by glass,
each time I take a drink.
I stand here – plain befuddled –
I don’t know just what to think.
For I am quite defeated
by my humble kitchen sink.
One day, you’re looking Frumpy.
Suddenly – you can’t go on.
It’s time to hie your body
to the Miracle Salon!
They cut and curl.
They rub and rinse.
They color.
They shampoo.
You look into the mirror.
And Voilà! A Brand New You!
Some folks plant tulips in the fall,
anticipating Spring.
But I don’t waste my time at all.
There is No Joy they’ll bring.
I share space with pesky rabbits,
with their tulip-eating habits.
A rabbit’s feast is at its prime
when spring turns into Tulip Time.
WE are the leaders we’re looking for.
WE are the ones who’ll do it.
WE are the ones who care the most.
And WE will get us through it.

No Kings.
No thrones.
No dynasties.
No tyrants here will reign.
We’ve booted out one kingly crown.
We’ll boot it out again.
No Kings.
No thrones.
No dynasties.
We stand for Liberty.
We rise with one united voice
to keep this country free.

Today’s a day of celebration.
Voices raised across the nation.
Speaking out to show that we
stand up as one for Liberty!
Time to say goodbye to summer.
Time to let the season pass.
No more sprinkling with the water.
No more mowing of the grass.
No more lazing in the sunshine
as the seedlings stretch and grow.
Time to say goodbye to summer.
Time to feel the rain and snow.
In autumn, there’s a mixed reaction –
sadness laced with satisfaction.
Pulling out still blooming plants
is just a yearly circumstance.
Tho summer plants have ceased to grow,
it still is hard to see them go.
