Drip and splatter

cross the windowpane.

Plop and scatter

down the glass again.

Drip and drop

along the top

and trickle down the glass.

Raindrops fall

and soak us all

before the rain clouds pass.

The forecast is for rain, followed by rain, followed by rain.

It isn’t yet November and the rain’s already a pain.

But there’s an upside to the downpours that we have in our Northwest.

We have water in the summer and that water Tastes the Best!
