Someone Laughed at an Ode

I’d like to be an inspiration…

to lift up my reader’s wings…

to be a ray of sunshine…

to lead on to better things.

Like other people, though,

I guess I’ll cut my goal in half.

Maybe it’s enough for now

to just make someone laugh.
