Still, the numbers are sliding lower.
There seems to be some hope in sight
as the death rate’s slightly slower.

Living the Aging Life 
It’s a bit numbing to realize we are happy when a death rate is lower than before. I’m sad there is a death rate at all. Still, we are coming out the other side.
