Yesterday’s Death Toll: 2,564

25 hundred died last night.

Is this never going to end?

Just when things were hopeful,

we’ve started an upward trend.

Some folks went without a mask –

thinking that all was fine.

For some, that was a sad mistake.

Death waited down the line.
