A mind’s an awful thing to lose.
It slips away in sorrow.
Some days it stays quite close at hand.
Then, disappears tomorrow.

Living the Aging Life 
So sadly true. As our friends grow older, we are seeing signs of mental decline in them and perhaps in ourselves. It is so sad and scary.
