My geraniums are blooming.
Don’t they know it’s Mid-November?
Do they think that it’s still summer
with the hot days they remember?
Are they blooming with such vigor
‘cause of memories they recall..
still living in a warmer past?
Did they miss when it turned to Fall?

It’s a funny picture in my mind, the geraniums too busy enjoying blooming to notice it got cold.
