It’s time to do my daily chores –
Clean up the sink. Mop up the floors.
Sort the laundry. Wash my clothes.
Water the plants. Coil up the hose.
There sure should be a better way
to spend the hours of one’s day.
I ponder ‘bout what life is for…
then vacuum cat hair off the floor.
Living the Aging Life 
For me, it is weeding. It never ends! We back onto a creek and seeds just blow from there into our gravel beds, settle in, put down roots, then spring up two inches high.
