Election Day in Twenty-Four.

Election Day has come and gone.

Our country made its choice.

Although I spoke against it,

I was an outmatched voice.

I ponder on the men we chose

to lead this sacred land,

and hope, if I live long enough,

one day I’ll understand.

It is so disappointing to know that more than half of American voters chose this man who represents everything I despise.
