The Uvalde children haunt me.
Empty places where they stood.
Silent voices on the playground.
Sorrow crushing young and good.

Living the Aging Life 
The fact that Congress continues to focus on controlling abortion instead of focusing on gun control, mental health care, and child welfare is what haunts me.
Our national priorities are just wrong.
