There were men who fought
–and some who died –
to keep our country free.
And some of us remember them.
They live in memory.

Living the Aging Life 
Some fought and lived with the memory. Like Uncle Lester who was mustard gassed. As Uncle Jim used to say, “Hon, war is a terrible thing.”
