A Spider’s Web

I’m living with a spider.

Spiders like to be alone.

So she’s living in my shower

where she’s made a Spider Zone.

She seems to do much better

when I leave her by herself,

doing what it is that spiders do,

beneath a bathroom shelf.

It’s a quiet life we’re leading,

just enjoying one another.

I’m behaving quite responsibly.

I am a Spider Mother.
