We picnicked by the river
on a quiet summer day.
We ate and laughed and talked
until ‘twas nothing left to say.
Then each stepped in to sep’rate cars
and drove their sep’rate way,
and all that’s left is mem’ries
of a quiet summer day.

Living the Aging Life 
The picnic was very special. Cheryl joined my sisters for an evening of wine and conversation so it was an entire day with people I know and care about.

It was a very nice day made even nicer by the presence of you and your sisters. The love you hold for one another, and for everyone you come in contact with, is evident. I felt special when I was with you all.
