Rabbit Migration

I hope these rabbits pack and go

to winter down in Mexico.

I hope they hop off, hand in hand,

to swim across the Rio Grande.

I hope they’ll soak up Southern sun

and savor life and have some fun.

I hope they’ll frolic, eat, and play

and never, ever come this way.
