Halloween

It’s spookie time.

It’s Halloween.

The ghosts and goblins prowl.

And somewhere in the darkness,

lurking werewolves raise a howl.

And jostling on my lighted porch,

in costumes, head to feet,

my laughing little neighbors

lift their bags for Trick or Treat.
