Today I’ll have a happy heart.
Today I’ll wear a grin.
Today I’ll find some happiness.
I’ll grow it from within.

It’s Christmas!
Feel the holiday!
Feel its happiness!
Feel the love that spreads around,
and know that you are blessed .
Tomorrow is another day.
Today, it’s time for rest.
Tomorrow we will try again.
Today, we’ve done our best.
My candle spreads its Christmas light
for all the world to see.
It offers hope to all the world and
hope to you and me.
Life and death are very close —
not very far apart.
The distance of a whispered breath —
the pulsing of a heart.
I need a bit of magic in this gray December day.
I need a little glitter, need some fun. I need to play.
I need a bit of laughter, need some sparkle, need some cheer.
And so, I’m thinking of you.
You’re the best part of my year.
We’ve made it to the shortest day.
The days are getting longer.
Oh, Joy!
Oh, Bliss!
How good is this?
Already I feel stronger!
Today I send you wishes
for a bright and happy day.
I hope that you’ll find laughter
and I hope your joy will stay.
A withered leaf clings way up high,
a dark, lorn blot against the sky.
It clutches to its twig, forlorn,
determined. It will NOT blow on.
Today I Am.
And, once, I was.
Tomorrow’s yet to be.
I live. I breathe.
I think. I feel.
There’s more than what you see.
