Can man and rabbits co-exist?

The answer’s:  no.

And I insist that Congress needs to pass a law

to send these hares to Arkansas.

Or Florida.  Or Delaware.

Or anywhere.

I do not care.

As long as they are FAR from me

and I can live life Rabbit Free.

The bunnies must be burrowing

their homes beneath my lawn.

They leap and prance, cavort and dance,

and simply won’t HOP ON!

The Uvalde children jaunt me.

They lie ‘neath Texas wind.

And the grieving hearts that loved them

will never fully mend.

Fortune smiles on you today

and looks on you with favor.

Some strange ailment’s

out to get us!

The bunnies frolic night and day.

They nibble through my garden.

A bite-bite here.

A chomp-chomp there.

It makes my cold heart harden.
