Night falls, and we close down our day.
We head for quiet sleep.
And now our eyes are closing.
Our rest is full, and deep.
Night falls, and we close down our day.
We head for quiet sleep.
And now our eyes are closing.
Our rest is full, and deep.
Behold the dancing daffodils:
they spread their sunshine wide.
They splash delights of color as
they bring the Spring inside.
We send blessings to our travelers
for a safe, convenient trip,
for a flight that’s uneventful,
not a single hitch or blip!
Safe travels!
The forecast is for drizzle –
for a day of squishy weather.
There’s no use in complaining.
We are all in this together.
Sharon is a techno-whiz.
She always makes things work.
She does it with such kindness that
I don’t feel like a jerk.
Thank you, Sharon
May this day be like butterscotch:
warm and smooth and mellow,
with skies that fill you with delight —
creamy, butt’ry yellow.
Good night,
sweet dreams,
my precious one.
May angels hover round you.
May you sleep soft
and sweet and deep
and only love surround you.
A single crocus!
What a treat!
It’s something rabbits
like to eat!
But I have ONE –
a sight to see!
Blooming for my
neighbors and me!
I’m a trav’ling man.
I’ve traveled far.
I drive long distances by car.
Sometimes I stop
to check my load,
but then I head on
down the road.
The roads I like to
travel most
are those that stretch
from coast to coast.
But I don’t care, I don’t complain,
when I drive down a shady lane.
I like the streets in quiet towns
where I’m the only car around.
I’ll put my foot down on the gas
when I head up a mountain pass
and ease my car to very slow
where signs say kids will likely go.
I’m a trav’ing man.
I just go on.
I sleep at night.
And drive at dawn.
I’m a trav’ling man.
Sleep now.
The dark has come.
Lay down your tired head.
Sleep now.
The night is here.
Let peace surround your bed.
