They say La Nina’s coming

with a winter cold and wet.

We’ll have lots of rain and ice and cold

and the deepest snowpack yet.

Google’s back to normal

with her forecast once again.

Today is cold and cloudy

and tomorrow there’ll be rain.

There are spiders in my bathtub.

I can’t be the only one!

When spiders climb up drain pipes,

it’s a sign that Fall’s begun!

We placed red roses on the graves

in thoughtful memory.

Our minds went back in quiet love

for the ones who used to be.

This old world is feeling battered,

and it’s thinking ‘bout the end.

This old world is sad and lonely.

This old world could use a friend.

The earth has done its best for man.

Man took what it desired.

But, now the world is troubled.

It’s feeling old and tired.

When the weather’s getting colder,

then the spiders come to call.

Spiders in the bathtub?

They’re a certain sign it’s Fall.
