Whenever I wonder ‘bout the end of things,
and start to ponder ‘bout what life brings,
there’s one thing that I know is true:
My heart is filled with love for you.

COVID keeps on killing.
A background noise. A hum.
Our mind no longer notes it.
The numbers make us numb.
Each morn I light a candle
that will guide us on our way.…
that will lead us through the perils…
and keep us safe each day.
I love See’s Candy.
But, See’s: Move Over!
You’ve got a rival
in Russell Stover.
Butterflies and rainbows.
Fluffy clouds in skies of blue.
Fairies and forget-me-nots.
These things I wish for you.
Tonight a quiet lullaby floats
softly through the air.
It’s a simple, gentle lullaby…
both blessing….and a prayer.
I grew a zucchini and it was good –
shaped and sized as zucchini should.
I know it’s a brag, which I hope you’ll pardon,
‘cause I LUV’ed that zucchini from my garden.
This here’s my daughter’s POSSL-Q.
I hope that makes some sense to you.
He’s really not my son-in-law.
He doesn’t call us Ma and Pa.
They bought a house.
They had a kid.
I don’t know what all else they did.
They never made it down the aisle.
Now’days these things just take awhile.
I guess I sorta wish they had.
Then this young man would call me Dad.
I sit on my porch
drinking coffee in the rain.
I see my smiling garden
and the world feels sane.
Life is shifting back to normal.
Things are looking up again.
Google says about the weather:
”and tomorrow there’ll be rain”
