ends the darkest of the year.

Today starts the bright beginning.

Spring is Officially Here!

It’s time for springtime daffodils,

for hyacinths and crocus.

It’s time for flowering trees and shrubs.

Spring’s coming into focus!

Got a cup of coffee

and settled in…

…pulled my snuggly blanket

up under my chin…

Watched the morning

day wake up…

…with my snuggly blanket

and a coffee cup…

Every rainbow carries a promise

of Gold beyond compare.

Here’s my Rainbow Promise to you:

its Gold I’ll gladly share.

Champagne and bon bons

are a treat.

Add good friends.

The party’s complete.

Thanks for the golden daffodils.

They fill my house with spring.

Thanks for your pleasant company

and the joy you always bring.

I’m looking for a Rainbow –

pretty colors, clear and true –

And if I find my Rainbow,

I’ll gladly share with you.

I’m alone in a house with a box of See’s Choc’late.

Pretty soon my company’s coming.

I try to hold out.  I try to wait.

But I feel myself succumbing.

Applets and Cotlets are biting the dust.
