Every day some thousands more
get their COVID vaccination.
And each new shot in each new arm
adds to hope across the nation.

They say that Punxutawney Phil is
forecasting once again.
I don’t know the weather where He’s at,
But, here, it continues to Rain.
Think of Rainbows
I’d rather think of Rainbows
than to ponder the daily news.
The Rainbows lift my heart and soul.
The news just seems to confuse.

The year we lived out on the farm
was a year of isolation.
It was a year of doing without,
a year of deprivation.
But we made it through
and so we know
that life has a steady
ebb and flow.
Then, it was the end of the War.
Now, it’s the Virus fear.
We just go forward with the faith
that we’ll see a better year.
Sharing Rainbows
If I have an extra Rainbow,
I’ll share my Rainbow with you.
Then I will have a Rainbow, and
you’ll have a Rainbow, too.
Prediction
90,000 people will die
in the few short weeks ahead.
My mind can’t comprehend it.

COVID Birthday Party
We had a Birthday Party.
It was quite a lot of fun.
We “masked” and “social distanced,”
and when it all was done,
we did a COVID Toe Tap to
express our fond good-byes….
…just a simple birthday party,
and still a nice surprise.
