Leftovers are as sweet to me
as clover is to the Honey Bee.
Leftovers are as sweet to me
as clover is to the Honey Bee.
It’s been three weeks since the election.
I’ve paused a bit for introspection.
The risks are vast. The stakes so high….
I want a President who Doesn’t Lie.
My brain is always in a Twitter.
Before the Virus, my brain was Fitter.
My brain is now a jumbled rush.
It’s turned to Corona Virus Mush.
There are some who say:
It won’t be me!
Still others say:
What will be, will be.
Some still spout:
It’s a hoax, you see!
A minute goes by:
a fatality.
Today is the start of another new day.
Today, I begin again.
Today, I step on the scales to weigh,
and then, I’ll begin to get Thin!
My life is full of blessings
so I’ll stop and take a minute
to thank God for my life itself
and everyone who’s in it.
I’m sending you my blessing.
I’m sending you my love.
My love for you is bounteous….
as big as the sky above.
Blessings on those who do their jobs
in dark and troubled days.
Blessings on those whose head and hand
carry us in this Phase.
Blessings on those who do the tasks
on which we all depend.
Blessings, Blessings on those who toil
until the Virus end.
Two crows perch on an electric wire.
I’d think their claws would catch on fire!
But, they just perch there, looking dire,
surveilling the world from the live, hot wire.
I’m blogging my way through the Virus,
recording each Random Thought.
Mostly, I think it’s keeping me sane.
But, sometimes, I’m thinking: It’s Not.
