The Anti-Vaxxers play COVID Roulette.

You’d think by now they’d know.

Omicron chooses the easiest.

They’re among the next to go.

Omicron dances and prances around.

There’s not a State where it can’t be found.

It chooses.  It beckons.  A hand of death.

And someone draws their final breath.

Unemployment rate:  4.2%

Before we had COVID,

there were people galore.

There were teachers in classrooms.

Clerks clerked in the store.

 There used to be plumbers

to plug up the leaks,

and snappy Park Rangers

patrolling our peaks

There were folks who ran pawn shops

and cops on the beat.

There were men driving big trucks

to sweep up the street.

There were nurses and mailmen

and men who plowed snow.

There used to be People.

Where did they go?

I am Prancing Like a Rooster!

I’m as Giddy as a School Girl!

I just got my COVID booster!

Folks still die at a pretty fast clip, tho

there are safe vaccines at our fingertip.

Anti-Vax take a stand and they won’t move.

I simply don’t see what they’ve got to prove.

In Wenatchee, they flaunt their right to die.

They want to be Vaccine Free.

If they get COVID, I don’t care.

I don’t want them to spread it to me.

The pool of those who bet against death

gets smaller ev’ry day.

Many decide on a safe vaccine,

and others just die away.

Some folks still play at COVID Roulette –

taking their chances, making the bet.

Some won’t Vax at any cost.

For some, the price is the life they lost.

The Anti-Vaxxers are willing to play

COVID Roulette with their lives.

They’re also playing COVID Roulette

with their husbands and children and wives.

Now Wall Street stocks are tanking

as investors feel quite queasy.

They watch the Delta Virus spread…

it’s making them uneasy.

The economy won’t settle down

as long as COVID hangs around.

We might as well just reconcile

‘cause COVID will be here awhile.
