It’s a Ho! Ho! Ho!

to all of us…

and, a Merry New Year, too,…

and, a wish for health and happiness,

and, joy the next year through.

Today I pray for peacefulness

in a world that’s torn apart.

Today I pray that hope will come

to mend each wounded heart.

I’m waiting beneath the Rainbow Clouds.

Pretty soon, you’ll be here, too.

I’ll take your hand.  You hold mine.

I’ll walk along with you.

I found a sparkle of pixie dust,

slipped down inside my shoe.

When I find a sparkle of pixie dust,

it makes me think of you.

Eight hundred thousand people dead.

The dismal toll goes on.

The fated move from breath to death….

We count them one by one.

Tonight brings close to another day….

to its happiness….and its sorrow.

The dawning will bring a brand new day.

We can try again tomorrow.

People ask me:  “How ya’ doin’?”

My answer’s a little slow.

With killings. COVID, and anarchy…

how does anybody know?

I’ve sprinkled your path with Pixie Dust.

I’ve tossed it through the air.

You’re walking today through Pixie Dust

for happiness everywhere.

May this day be a day of happiness.

May this day be a day of laughter.

May this day bring sunshine to your life

with Happiness Ever After.

Book Club’s tomorrow, so

Don’tcha Fergit!

We’ll have a light lunch, and

we’ll chat a bit.

We’ll have dessert,

and sip on some wine.

We’re meeting tomorrow –

come snow or come shine!
