The Virus is a deadly scourge.
It infects and then it kills.

The cul de sac is quiet.
Tim’s gone to his Boeing shift.

The boardwalk stretches across the marsh,
floating above the ground.
It’s hard to believe this desolate tract
is so close to a bustling town.

Tucker is a good old dog.

There’s a helicopter up on Mars,
not sure where it is at.

There’s constant traffic on our hill
as the cars drive up and down.
They work like ants, incessantly.
Only snow can slow them down.
